Late c19 German Violin

This very pretty German violin was made in the 1880s - 1890s. The back, ribs and scroll are made from stunning Bird's Eye Maple.

I fully restored this violin myself and made internal tonal adjustments to release the full potential of the tonewoods, including fitting a new bass bar. This is a beautiful and very resonant instrument, now ready for sale. Please contact me for more details.

Work undertaken on this violin includes crack repairs and a neck reset, as well as a complete professional set up. All repair work is guaranteed.
